The Ecclesia Group’s main location in Detmold received an extension. The new building provides space for 280 workplaces on five floors as well as a three-storey state-of-the-art conference and innovation centre.
The building meets all requirements of a contemporary working environment and simultaneously establishes a successful connection between new construction and existing building, innovation and tradition.
Created to reflect the corporate values of professionalism, reliability and trust, the high quality design is based on clarity, structure and openness. Well thought-out functional zoning enables a variety of working styles including individual spaces and workshop rooms. About 30 per cent of the new office space is designed as “open space” which encourages communication when employees from different departments work together on projects. At the same time, these spaces also facilitate spontaneous meetings or concentrated work in one of the soundproofed areas.
The different functions are visually connected by a uniform design language. Corporate blue in various shades, combined with light white and grey tones are the predominant colours.
The conference centre also offers flexible capacities for a variety of conferences. These units feature the latest conference technology suitable for face-to-face events as well as for virtual meetings and the production of webinars.
The range of options is complemented by the work café as a casual meeting place for employees and customers and the fitness rooms where staff can enjoy in-house classes.
