Event venue — Ruhr region, DE
The design concept for a major event venue in the Ruhr region pulls the club’s various spaces and lounges together with a coordinated colour and material concept that is constantly combined and interpreted in different ways to create different moods.
The design theme is the sky with all of its facets. The colour spectrum therefore ranges from a cool night blue to a copper-coloured sunset red, combined with shades of grey and beige. It also includes a rainbow at the selfie point in the foyer.
In the large hall where the dance floor is located, the warm wooden flooring, copper-coloured wall panelling and indirect lighting with a warm light colour create an inviting and cosy atmosphere despite the size of the room. A semitransparent mesh fabric ribbon that appears to dance in the wind and reflects the rays of the sun winds its way along the ceiling. The ribbon already starts in the foyer, continues through the adjacent lounge and ultimately connects it with the dance floor hall.
The small club rooms with their galleries also play with the themes of water, ice and sunshine in various ways. Equipped with mood lighting, they provide a stage for the various events.
