Redesign of a flat. When the owners were faced with the decision to either move or remodel, the perfect location and the view of the green river landscape from the large windows made it easy to opt for a redesign. Consequently, pastel shades of green play a major part in the design concept, very subtly in the kitchen where individual cabinets make maximum use of the available space and more intensively in terms of the intelligent TV unit which hides a bar and provides additional storage space.
The well thought out opening of the existing cubage provides a generous, light-flooded and modern urban living space. White marble and natural tone-in-tone colour nuances create the bright and calm atmosphere of a perfect retreat. Elegant oak floorboards in the living area, slightly transparent curtains and abundant daylight reflecting the warm golden metal surfaces of the light fixtures and the kitchen chairs underline this impression of comfort and airiness. The classic Italian bar stools with high-quality leather upholstery express the owners’ pleasure in high-quality craftwork.
