Taipei – its mountains, rivers, sea and forests inspire the cuisine of 3-star chef Thomas Bühner. Personal experience and European cooking style fuse with nature and influences of farmers and producers to create dishes that combine Taiwanese products with the best from around the world.
The influences from this creative, upscale cuisine are expressed not only in the interior design of the fine dining restaurant, but also in the overall branding. Natural colours and materials are the key elements.
The logo is reduced to the essential and resembles a mix of fonts from different cultures.
The elements water, air, earth and fire are the origin of all being and the foundation of nature, its products and growth. These opposites and their interaction are the inspiration for the corporate design, resulting in an icon that depicts the fusion of the elements. Used on its own or as part of a pattern, the icon and the logo characterise the branding.
The colour scheme – night blue and cream – also creates associations with the strong contrasts of life, such as day and night or light and shadow.
