The restaurant in the basement of a music hall theatre was to shine in new splendour against the background of its history. A bronzed glass partition wall separating the kitchen was installed to make the room livelier, however without taking away the calm and classy atmosphere of a “fine dining” restaurant. Wine racks create distance and perspective. Individual areas were converted into private dining lounges using partition elements made of three-dimensional brass-copper.
The benches terminate in pleasant seating zones. An ocean of pillows brightens up the atmosphere and tops off the lounge character, which is highlighted by the indirect illumination. Wall pictures of prominent guests and printed table plates made of glass with menus from former times convey the historic character of the locality.
